GM, Automakers Connect Big at CES

(Detroit, MI)  --  General Motors connects in a big way this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.  Spokesman Greg Ross says that starting this summer OnStar customers will have access to a whole new level of connectivity.

He says the AppShop will offer the most popular apps including iheartradio, The Weather Channel, Eventseeker and Priceline.  It'll be available this summer in 2015 models including the Corvette, Equonox, Impala, Malibu, Volt and Silverado.

With all of this additional technology, he says the goal is to minimize driver distraction.

He's been in the car game for two-and-a-half decades and couldn't have imagined then, some of things he's part of now.

Clear Channel's iheartradio will also be found in new Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo and Kia vehicles.
